koojoo asked: yesterday, i was having dinner with a friend from Malaysia. we were in one of the restaurant located at city area of Singapore. My friend and I were having dinner, another 2 guys that we do not know were sitting at the next table. When my friend and I talking, They keep on laughing. because my friend speak in a very strong Malaysian accent. Does that really deserved to be laugh? when my friend speak every sentence, they laugh at every sentence. Of course, I am feeling very uncomfortable. Seems like they are hearing our conversation and laughing at my friend’s accent. Those 2 guys seems to be in their 25 - 30 in their office attire, same age as me and my friend. should be quite mature. I just don’t understand why they want to disturb our dinner. but i do not know how to react. My friend and I just quickly finish the dinner and left the place. should I confront with them? what is the best way to deal with them in this situation?
